Role:

Interim Delivery Manager (West) and S106

Hailing originally from the antipodeans, I have called the UK home for the last 20 years.

My planning career in the UK began in Local Government in Essex, where I started as a planner and worked my way up to team leader in development management. This has included working within and managing teams which cover the full range of development management services, including compliance/enforcement.

I then had a stint for several years as Planning Director for an architectural/planning practice in the private sector. I would recommend that planners take the opportunity to see planning from both sides of the fence at some point in their careers; it broadens the mind.

More recently, I have entered the world of contracting and am currently in my second stint with the Greater Cambridge Shared Planning Service. We have a tremendous team of people, and I feel very privileged to have been welcomed back - in the capacity of Interim Development Manager - in what is a truly iconic city.
